Our story
Forged in Fitzroy, tuned for the ladder.
We started as a three-rig LAN corner above a Gertrude Street record shop. Nine years on, NextStage Arena is one of Melbourne’s busiest grassroots esports rooms — and we still tune every machine by hand.
- 2016
The record-shop LAN
Three overclocked rigs and a borrowed router in a 20-square-metre loft. Friday nights sold out within the hour.
- 2019
Gertrude Street flagship
We took the ground floor at 58 Gertrude Street and built out 40 stations, a casting booth and the first VR bay in the inner north.
- 2021
NextStage League launches
Our in-house CS and Valorant ladders drew 600 registered players across greater Melbourne in the first season.
- 2024
60 stations & console pods
A full refit added 240Hz displays, six couch-co-op console pods and a dedicated coaching room used by three ADL teams.

02Gear up & log in
Every rig ships with a Ryzen 7, RTX 4070 and a 240Hz panel. Bring your own peripherals or borrow our tuned Logitech and Wooting sets.
03Play, scrim or compete
Queue casually, run a private scrim room, or enter the Tuesday and Thursday NextStage League ladders across CS2, Valorant and Rocket League.

Level up with coaching
Book a session with our resident coaches, review your VODs in the analysis room and climb with a plan instead of a prayer.
